OWNERS COMMENTS
We are offering 3 shares in the boat (with ourselves retaining a 1/4
share).
The plan is to keep the boat in the Caribbean for three seasons and
enjoy all that sailing the Caribbean islands has to offer. We would
then sail the boat across the Atlantic. Partners could take
advantage of the opportunity to make an Atlantic crossing, or simply
enjoy free delivery of the boat to the Med. After 2 years cruising
the Mediterranean we would put the boat on the market and split the
sale price evenly between the 4 partners. Of course, if one or more
parties wishes to retain the boat, they would have the option to buy
out the others.
Based on a 24 week Caribbean season this will give each 'partner' a
guaranteed minumum 6 weeks sailing per year.
Tom Jones is is currently lying in Jolly Harbour, Antigua. The boat
is hauled out and stored on the hard during the hurricane season
(July to November) each year. The schedule would be roughly as
follows:
Year 1: Winter season in the Caribbean & stored ashore during summer
hurricane season.
Year 2: 2nd full winter season in the Caribbean and summer storage
as year 1.
Year 3: Final winter season in the Caribbean followed by
trans-Atlanlantic crossing to the Med.
Year 4: Med season.
Year 5: Final season in the Med followed by sale of yacht and
dissolution of syndicate.

ANNUAL RUNNING COSTS
Approx £2500 per partner per year
It will be necessary to pay VAT on importation to the EU at the end of year 3, this is estimated at £1250 per partner.
